“As We See It” Canceled on Amazon – No Season 2 for Autism Dramedy

As we see it, parenting Creator Jason Katims’ dramedy about roommates who live on the autism spectrum will not return in Season 2 TVLine learned something new on Prime Video.

Touted as “Katim’s best series since parenting‘ on TVLine’s Best Shows of the First Half of 2022, the eight-episode series told the story of three roommates in their 20s who live on the autism spectrum as they try to “get and keep jobs, friends too.” find, fall in love and navigate a world that eludes them.”

The series, which released January 21, starred Rick Glassman (undatable) as Jack, Sue Ann Pien (baller) as Violet and newcomer Albert Rutecki as Harrison. (All three actors identify themselves as living on the spectrum in real life.) Supporting cast, meanwhile, included Sosie Bacon (13 reasons why) as her assistant Mandy, Chris Pang (Crazy rich Asians) as Violet’s brother Van and Joe Mantegna (criminal thoughts) as Jack’s father Lou.

Katims (whose own son is on the Spectrum) served as showrunner, writer and executive producer.

In addition to TVLine’s best shows from the first half of 2022, As we see it received a Metacritic score of 82 and a 90% Fresh rating from Rotten Tomatoes critics.
