In 1985 a young man from Ireland took the stage of Live Aid and sang his heart out. This emerging talent was bono, who would go on to become one of the greatest recording artists in the world. His band U2 will forever go down in history alongside the likes of the Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne and KISS.

Having lived and lived a long illustrious career, he is poised to share more details about his life with his forthcoming memoir, titled Surrender: 40 songs, one story, which is expected to be released in November. He recently read part of it for CBS Monday morning and as expected, fans are going crazy.

Like every other rock star out there, Bono has never enjoyed the unanimous support of music lovers, but his yet-to-be-released memoir has yet to meet a naysayer.

Bono fans have been busy sharing their enthusiasm for his memoir, though it will be some time before they get their hands on it.

Early reviews of the memoir have already confirmed its excellence, leading MTV VJ Alan Hunter to reiterate what fans everywhere have already been thinking.

One ardent Bono fan has solved the dilemma of waiting days to read the memoir – by finding a library that’s giving away his early copies! Well, that’s what we call determination.

What will his memoirs talk about? Will it tell the story of Bono meeting Bill Clinton on a plane to discuss politics? Perhaps it will reveal the details of the time a man was arrested while U2 were performing “Where the Streets Have No Name” atop a Rochester building. Apparently the rest of us aren’t lucky enough to get sneak copies. We’ll have to wait for the final release of the memoir and try not to lose our calm when those who receive an early copy take to their social media platforms to celebrate their victory.
