The first house of the dragon The season wraps up tonight, but showrunner Ryan Condal is already teasing the Westerosi fandom about what’s to come in season two. As we prepare to dive into the finale, a game of Thrones The alum has come under fire for a very controversial take on the MCU, even if she’s technically a part of it now. Here’s your daily roundup of Seven Kingdoms news.
Who are the Cargyll twins in “House”?
Among the latest additions to the a house Ensemble – which seems to be growing with each episode – are the Cargyll twins. Ser Erryk and Ser Arryk are members of the Kingsguard, but with loyalties that pit them against one another in the Dance of the Dragons. At least that’s what the show has hinted at so far, with one fond of Rhaenyra, the rightful heir, and the other loyal to Otto Hightower, Hand of the King. There’s no telling if the Cargylls will play a major role in the wars to come, but house of the dragon certainly portrays them as important characters, so we’ll need to keep a closer eye on their actions, especially as it will be all too easy to confuse one with the other.
Maisie Williams gets a real bang for hating on ‘No Way Home’
Today, Maisie Williams has come under fire for unnecessarily taking a stab at questionable comments that send people into a swamp of hot confusion Spider-Man: No Way Home, a movie most people loved and the rest revered as the best thing that’s ever happened in the MCU, a statement that in and of itself says a lot about how popular the flick actually is. Now we can only wonder what’s gotten into Williams after an MCU flick — when she’s starred in a rather messy and critically panned Marvel film herself — but the internet was certainly willing to give him the rough side of his tongue game of Thrones Alum no matter how much they love Arya.
Expect more war and humor in the second season of House!
You can always rely on that game of Thrones Delivering an absolute spectacle of a fight sequence when I have to, but I think we can all agree that over the last decade or so that has never been the source of the show’s strength — a simple truth that showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss would have done well to remember before approaching these last two seasons. house of the dragon certainly gets the brief, but that doesn’t mean the show won’t go all out when it comes to action.
“We’re going to get to the spectacle,” creator Ryan Condal tells The Times. “But you have to understand the complexities of these people before throwing them into the war. The second series will achieve the rhythms that people expected from the middle run of game of Thronesbut it will be deserved and viewers will feel the tragedies because we put the work into it.”
As fans, that’s all we could ever really ask for.
