This works great for expanding the memory on your Fire TV. I used it on both the older version 4K Fire TV (first gen) and the Fire TV Cube to expand the memory by adding a ultra mini 32GB USB drive to the USB port and using ES File to manage the extra storage. This worked better than the cable version that may be visible on some TV’s. Using it on the Cube – it does stick out on right side a bit but it doesn’t impede the device placement or level. To use on Fire TV, unplug the mini-USB power cable going into the Fire Stick and plug the adaptor into that port, next plug the power cable into the mini-USB port on the adaptor. Then add any USB type drive to the regular USB port. I don’t know what the max amount of memory is that the Fire TV can access, so I wouldn’t go too high. To use on the Cube unplug the power cord from the Cube and plug the adapter into the mini-USB port, next, plug the power cable back into the Cube. (The power cord for the Cube is different from the Fire Stick because it uses a mini round DC plug rather than the mini-USB.)

I bought this to add extra storage to my 4k 🔥 stick.. It works perfect with it, it’s neat and looks good connected to the 🔥 stick especially as my hdmi port is on the side of my TV.. All the ports work as they should.. I would definitely purchase again

If you don’t need any more cables hanging around, this is what you need to expand your firestick. plugs right into the side, add a USB drive, and your set after some instructions and programming from UTUBE.
